A voice of the Twin Lakes Area was honored twice Thursday night at the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce Banquet.

Long-time KTLO-FM morning host and Mountain Lakes Broadcasting general manager Bob Knight was honored posthumously with the chamber’s Chairman Award, and the Spirit Award was renamed the Bob Knight Spirit Award.

Knight’s grandson, Zane Loftis, accepted the Chairman’s Award on his grandfather’s behalf.

After the announcement of the Bob Knight Spirit Award, daughter Heather Loftis said, “Bob would have loved nothing more. Promoting his beloved Mountain Home was one of his favorite things. KTLO and our family are so thankful for this honor, and we are so excited to see the growth and opportunities that lay ahead for all of us because of the work of our chamber.”

The banquet was held in the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
