North Arkansas Transportation Services (NATS) has again started running a bus for its city route in Mountain Home this week, and a significant change has been announced. Those looking to utilize the bus can contact the driver directly and say where they are and where they need to go. The driver will pick up the passengers and take them to their destination for $1.
NATS transportation director Jack Chism says when a passenger calls for a ride, the driver will direct him or her to the nearest stop.

The bus ride service is available weekdays between 8:30 and 2:30. It will be closed for most federal holidays or if the weather forces a cancellation.
