A special election will be held in Ozark County next Tuesday to allow residents to vote on a proposal to allow the county to collect sales tax on internet purchases. Currently, Ozark County does not receive any tax revenues from online sales, putting local retailers at a disadvantage since they are required to collect the tax.
Ozark County Clerk Brian Wise joined Brad Haworth on the news at 7 Tuesday morning to discuss the proposal.
