Three area high schools will hold their graduation services Friday night as seniors from Norfork, Flippin and Yellville-Summit each receive their diplomas.
Norfork will graduate 30 seniors, with the ceremony scheduled for 8 in the school’s gymnasium.
Norfork’s Valedictorian is Elliott Ruegsegger and the Salutatorian is Trakker Estes.
Flippin’s graduation ceremony will be held at 8 in the new gymnasium with a graduating class of 41 seniors.
Valedictorian and Salutatorian for Flippin will be announced during graduation.
Flippin seniors have been awarded approximately $700,000 in scholarship money. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Masks are not mandatory.
The speaker for Flippin’s graduation will be Sarah Jefferson, High School Librarian.
Yellville-Summit’s graduation ceremony will be held at 7 in the Panther Pavilion with 53 seniors receiving their diplomas.
Yellville-Summit’s Valedictorian is Kassidi Doshier and Salutatorian Keelyn Smith. Other honor graduates speaking during the ceremony include: Elizabeth Allen, Gavin Bogden, Jacey Davenport and Dawson Walker.
There are currently no restrictions on how many guests graduates may have in attendance. The ceremony will be live-streamed with the link posted to the Yellville-Summit Schools’ website.
Yellville-Summit seniors have been awarded close to $1 million in scholarship money.
