A Fulton County couple has been arrested in connection with the rape of a nine-year-old girl. Being held in the Fulton County Jail are 39-year-old Chad Michael Huckabee and 38-year-old Lori Huckabee.
Court documents in the case indicate Chad Huckabee is charged with one count of rape and is being held on a $200,000 bond. He is a registered sex offender in Fulton County. Lori Huckabee is charged with one count of permitting abuse of a minor. Her bond is set at $100,000.
During an interview with the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division, the nine-year-old said the two incidents happened while she was in the care of the Huckbees. The first time, Lori Huckbee entered the bedroom where the assault was taking place. In the second incident, Lori Huckabee was in the same bed when Chad Huckabee was allegedly sexually assaulting the girl. In both instances, the victim said Lori told Chad to stop, but she did not report the crimes.
