After an off day Thursday, the St. Louis Cardinals will begin a three-game weekend series in Philadelphia Friday evening.
The Cardinals are 43-35 and trail Milwaukee by one game in the National League Central Division. The Phillies are 40-37 and trail the Mets by 7 1/2 games in National League East Division.
Miles Mikolas (5-5) gets the start for St. Louis. Philadelphia will send Bailey Falter (0-2) to the hill.
First pitch is at 5:05 with the Ameren Total Access pregame show at 4:10 on KTLO-AM.
