During the recent media for the new athletic department at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, one activity that was introduced to the community has already been established. The Trailblazer bass fishing program has been competing over the last few years as a club sport, but this year, it will transition to being a sport sanctioned by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
