A Stone County man has been arrested after shouting racial slurs at a man and threatening to kill a bus full of people.

Forty-four-year-old Brandon Davis is facing three felony counts of terroristic threatening after he was picked up from a facility in Conway and began causing havoc on the community bus traveling to Mountain View.

According to the probable cause affidavit, an investigator responded to a call of a domestic in progress at a business in Mountain View on Jan. 5 where he was met by two employees who stated Davis got on the community bus and began making racial slurs towards another individual on the bus. After Davis was asked to not repeat the racial slurs he allegedly started yelling, “stop the bus, stop the (expletive) bus, I’m going to kick his (expletive), if you don’t stop, I’m jumping out of this (expletive) bus.”

The driver stated she would pull over at the safest place. Once the bus was stopped Davis allegedly exited the bus and yelled for the victim to exit the bus because he was “going to kill him.” The driver stated she went to speak with Davis and he told her to “get back on the bus or he was going to kill her and everyone in the van.”

Investigators spoke with another employee of the business who stated Davis was picked up from Conway Behavioral Health around 11 that morning and after stopping at another facility in Conway they began the trip to Mountain View. The employee stated once the bus reached the Botkinberg sign Davis attempted to get out of the vehicle and started saying “you have 48 hours to take me to my wife, turn right there I want to go see my wife. I’ll kill you if you take me out of Arkansas.” The driver stopped the vehicle while Davis allegedly continued to tell her he would kill her for various reasons. Davis exited the vehicle with the driver and she attempted to calm him down. After returning to the bus, Davis allegedly began to grab the steering wheel attempting to make her turn onto the Botkinberg intersection.

Davis then exited the vehicle once again and picked up a rock in an attempt to throw it at the bus. Davis was given time to calm down and after he re-entered the bus he began to say threatening things once again and picked up a phone cord and stated “I will strangle you with this” and through it on the floor. After that, Davis allegedly stated, “I have to pee, pull the van over so I can pee. I’ll kill you if you don’t pull over so I can pee.”

Davis is being held in the Stone County Detention Center without bond.
