The weekend was a rough one for the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home baseball team. The Trailblazers were swept in two doubleheaders at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
ASU-Mountain Home lost Saturday’s games 19-3 and 8-4. The Red Ravens also won Sunday’s games 11-10 and 25-8.
While the Blazers are 0-6 on the season, some of their statistics have looked good. ASU-Mountain Home is in the top 10 in the country in stolen bases, doubles, home runs, batting averages, slugging percentages and on-base percentages.
The Blazers will be in Tonkawa on Friday to begin a three-game series against Northern Oklahoma College.
