Tuesday basketball schedule includes MHHS hosting Harrison

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule as the Mountain Home teams will wrap up their current three-game home stand. The Bombers and Lady Bombers are set for another outing with Harrison.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 12-11 on the season and 3-4 in the 5A-West after getting edged out by Siloam Springs on Saturday. Harrison is 8-13 and 2-6 after losing to Russellville over the weekend. The Lady Bombers defeated the Lady Goblins 57-43 on Jan. 10.
The Mountain Home boys are 13-10 overall and 4-3 in the league after squeaking by Siloam Springs three nights ago. Harrison got past Russellville to improve to 16-7 and 6-2. The Bombers topped the Goblins 49-44 nearly a month ago.
The girls’ game tips off at 6 at Bomber Gymnasium followed by the boys’ contest. Both games will be on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Elsehwere in the 5A-West, Greenbrier hosts Russellville, Siloam Springs travels to Alma, and Van Buren makes the short trip to Greenwood.

Elsewhere, Mountain Home Christian Academy hosts Omaha, Cotter entertains Yellville-Summit, Norfork is home against Melbourne, Flippin hosts West Fork for Senior Night, Viola travels to Concord, Calico Rock makes the trip to Timbo, Gainesville is home against Fordland for Senior Night, Ozark Mountain heads to Haas Hall-Bentonville, Izard County travels to Shirley, Marshall hosts South Side-Bee Branch for Senior Night, Mountain View makes the trip to Newark to face Cedar Ridge, Lead Hill heads to Mount Judea, and Bergman travels to Valley Springs.
