Harrison man charged with domestic battery

A Harrison man has been arrested for domestic battery from an incident which occurred in November 2022.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the Harrison Police Department were dispatched to a residence on a report of a disturbance in progress.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with two individuals. The victim told she would like to press charges against 22-year-old Taylor McDonald for domestic battery, from an incident which occurred the previous day. She told officers although she did not call at the time, she had bruises on her arms and was worried it would happen again. During the incident, she stated she was holding their 2-year-old and was 2 months pregnant.

Due to the amount time between the incident and when the victim called police, McDonald was not charged while on the scene.

McDonald is currently being held at the Boone County Detention Center. Bond has not been set at this time.
