A woman recently arrested for multiple sex crimes in Douglas County now has a trial date set for December.

Forty-nine-year-old Shawna Ross of Ava will go on trial Dec. 11-14 after a venue is decided on in May, according to online court records.

KYTV recently reported Ross is facing two counts of statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy and two counts of sex trafficking. She has been accused of allowing a girl to perform sexual acts on a man in exchange for residing at the man’s house.

Two other men have been charged in connection with the case. KOLR reports Robert Atherton has been charged with statutory rape, statutory sodomy and sex trafficking. His case has been moved to Texas County for a change of venue.

Sixty-six-year-old Harold Blair has been accused of multiple child sex abust counts. In February, Blair was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of using two minor girls to produce child pornography. He is set to appear in federal court in Springfield on April 6.
