A Lake Station, Indiana man, 23-year-old Juan Martin Blankenship, has been arrested for an alleged rape that happened in Baxter County in 2021.
According to information from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported in 2021. Following the investigation, an arrest warrant for Blankenship was issued last October after a report on forensic evidence came back from the state crime lab.
The alleged rape occurred when Blankenship lived in the Mountain Home area and involved a juvenile.
The files in the case have been sealed.
Blankenship is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
