Boil water order issued for residents along River Road in Lakeview

The Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority has issued a precautionary boil water order for customers starting at the Bull Shoals White River State Park Campground on River Road in Lakeview, all the way to the end of River Road, and the roads surrounding River Road.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.

All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.

Customers in the affected area will be called when the precautionary boil order has been lifted.
