FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – The NCAA tournament baseball game between TCU and Arkansas scheduled for Saturday night was moved to Sunday afternoon at 2. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
Thunderstorms delayed the elimination game between Arizona and Santa Clara that was scheduled for a 2 p.m. start. The gates at Baum-Walker Stadium had opened briefly at around 3:30 p.m. with hopes of getting the game started, but heavy rains and lightning in the area forced a further delay.
According to the NCAA host operation manual, regional games must begin by 11 p.m. local time.
