Two deaths in Fulton County are being investigated as homicides. A report from Jonesboro television station KAIT shows the males were found during a two-day period at different locations.

Fulton County deputies first responded Wednesday to a report of a shooting in the Glencoe area and located a man with “at least a single gunshot wound.” Twenty-seven-year-old Brandon Chrisco was pronounced dead on the scene, and an unidentified suspect has been arrested and awaits the filing of formal charges.

The next day, deputies reportedly responded to the Viola area for reports of a body being found. They located the body of 59-year-old David Southerland, who was pronounced dead on the scene. Sheriff Jake Smith says his office is being assisted by the Arkansas State Police in the investigation into Southerland’s death. At the last update, no suspect had been arrested.

Sheriff Smith says the two deaths are isolated incidents, and the county is not in danger. Fulton County investigators are reportedly conducting interviews, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
