The Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team opened up its season on Saturday. The Hurricanes went to Pocahontas and came away with a second place finish. The victory went to Jonesboro.
Mountain Home’s individual wins came from Liam McKee, Farrah Coleman, Parker and Callie Kohler, Caleb Due, Brandon Belicek, Hayden Kelley, Eve Miller and Bryce Kaye. Ethan Kaye, Livie Cranfill and Chloe Wilson all had legal swims for their first outing.
The Hurricanes will have their first home meet of the year next weekend as they welcome in Mountain View and Harrison.
