The Cardinals return to St. Louis Friday to begin a six-game home stand. The Redbirds begin with a three-game weekend series against Cincinnati.

St. Louis is currently in fifth place in the National League Central Division and trails Milwaukee by eight games with a record of 26-37. The Cardinals had their five-game losing streak snapped Wednesday when they avoided getting swept at Texas.

The Reds are five games behind the Brewers in the division with a mark of 29-34. Cincinnati’s three-game win streak was broken Thursday by the Dodgers, but they were able to take two out of three in the series over L.A.

Jordan Montgomery will be the starting pitcher for St. Louis, and the Reds will go with Ben Lively. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 7:15. Friday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:20 with Ameren Total Access.
