Cardinals to host Pirates for 3-game series

The St. Louis Cardinals’ seven-game home stand continues on Tuesday. The Redbirds are set to host the Pittsburgh Pirates for a three-game series.

St. Louis is currently in fourth place in the National League Central as they trail Milwaukee by seven games with a record of 31-33. The Cardinals are coming off a 5-1 win on Sunday to split a four-game series with Colorado.

Pittsburgh is 1/2 game behind St. Louis at 31-34. The Pirates lost to Minnesota on Sunday, but they won the first two games to take the series.

Miles Mikolas will be on the mound for the Cardinals, and Pittsburgh will go with Paul Skenes. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 6:45. Tuesday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 5:50 with Ameren Total Access.
