A member of the upcoming senior class at Mountain Home High School has announced her decision to continue her athletic career on the collegiate level after she graduates in the spring. Anna McCarn has committed to join the women’s basketball program at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo.
McCarn finished her junior year with the Lady Bombers as a member of the 5A-West All-Conference Team. Her averages of 5.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game helped Mountain Home return to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Tournament this past season.
McCarn will join a Lion program beginning its third year of competing in NCAA Division I after previously being in Division II. Lindenwood is currently a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.
