A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at noon in Howell County. Forty-six-year-old Stephanie Mellott was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the West Plains Police Department, the crash was reported around noon on U.S. Highway 63 near Quarry Road in West Plains. Two vehicles, a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle, were involved in the crash. Mellott was the driver of the passenger vehicle.
The crash is still under investigation.
