
As Hurricane Beryl makes landfall into Texas Monday morning concerns for flooding rain in the Twin Lakes area are growing. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in North Little Rock the remnants of Hurricane Beryl will move across Arkansas Monday evening into Tuesday producing heavy rainfall across the watch area. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are possible. Locally higher amounts may be seen over portions of western into north-central Arkansas.
KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News spoke with NWS meterologist Thomas Jones Monday morning and he says the system will be in place until later Tuesday evening bring heavy rains and the chance for severe weather.
