Arkansas Tech University (ATU) in Russellville has begun construction of its newest student union.
Named after ATU benefactors Cindi and Jimmy Ferguson, the Ferguson Student Union will be a 68,000 square foot facility that will feature student meeting spaces, lounge spaces for students to enjoy during their free time, fast casual dining, an e-sports gaming lab, basketball courts, a location to check out outdoor recreation gear and workout areas for cardiovascular and strength fitness training.
The Ferguson Student Union is estimated to take 18 months for completion.
