The Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team suffered its first loss in the Arkansas Junior State Tournament on Wednesday. MacLeod ended up falling to Conway 9-2 on the campus of Little Rock Christian Academy.
Aiden Shrable suffered the defeat as he started on the mound for Mountain Home. Landon Newton worked 5 2/3 relief innings, and Ford Coleman came on for the final frame.
Brenden Arki, Braxton Blagg and Will Morris each had a base hit for MacLeod.
