Fundraiser Friday will provide funding for Baxter County tornado victims

Several local businesses will be partnering with food suppliers to sponsor a fundraising lunch and dinner this Friday to benefit tornado victims in Baxter County.

Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News and says their goal was to sell 1000 chicken lunches and as of Thursday evening tickets to the lunch event had been sold out with tickets still available for the dinner.

Proceeds from the events will benefit victims of the May 26th tornado in Baxter County.

The lunch will be held from 11 to 1 at ERA Doty Real Estate, located at 1357 SW Hwy 62B.

The dinner event and live auction starts at 5 at the Baxter County Fair Grounds. Dinner will include pork steak, roasted potatoes, salad, dessert and a beverage. Brandon Barnes will be auctioning off donated items. Tickets are $25 each.

Tickets for the dinner are available for purchase at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot located at 620 Highway 5 North in Mountain Home.
