Dollar General Corp. is expanding its distribution network into a new state.
The discount retailer has opened a state-of-the-art, 1 million-square-foot hub in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The facility will support the company’s traditional supply chain, its DG Fresh network for perishable products, and its DG Private Fleet in-house trucking network.
The building represents an investment of approximately $160 million in Pulaski County and is expected to create around 300 new jobs when fully operational. The company is currently offering positions in warehouse operations, human resources, inventory control, maintenance, training, and administration to support both the distribution center and DG Private Fleet operations.
In November 2024, Dollar General opened a facility in Denver to support its DG Private Fleet network, and at that time, the company announced plans to open a facility in Arkansas in 2025.
Dollar General opened its first “dual-use” supply chain hub for both traditional and DG Fresh perishable goods in Nebraska in 2023.
