
The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had a successful preseason outing in Jonesboro on Thursday as they swept their benefit matches over Nettleton.
The Bomber boys were able to defeat the Raiders 3-1. Jacob Bzdel led Mountain Home with two goals; Kaleb Daniel added a goal; Landon Scallion, Austin Gray and Jake Brewer each dished out an assist; and Zach Padgett recorded one save.
The girls’ match was more lopsided. The Lady Bombers shut out Nettleton by a score of 6-0.
Both Mountain Home teams will start the season Tuesday with a trip to Batesville.
