The precipitation measured Sunday morning at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, was just shy of another daily rainfall record being broken. The rain was enough to move 2025 into the top 10 for wettest Aprils.
A total of 2.21 inches of precipitation was measured Sunday morning. That is .09 of an inch shy of the April 6 record at 2.3, set in 1951.
The first six days of the month have resulted in a total of 10.16 inches of rain, making 2025 the seventh-wettest April on record so far, with 80% of the month remaining. The wettest April in recorded history is 16.87 inches in 1927.
