MHHS girls’ soccer team wins, boys finish in draw at Alma

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had mixed results on Monday as they were in makeup action at Alma.

The Lady Bombers shut out the Lady Airedales by a final of 2-0. Kelsey Blackwell scored both goals for Mountain Home. The Lady Bombers improve to 7-3 on the season and 3-3 in the 5A-West.

The varsity boys’ match ended with Mountain Home and Alma in a 2-2 draw. Kaleb Daniel and Jacob Bzdel each scored a goal for the Bombers, Jake Brewer and Dierks Beauregard each dished out an assist, and Zach Padgett recorded five saves. Mountain Home is now 1-4-5 overall and 1-2-2 in the league.

The evening began with Mountain Home’s junior varsity boys falling to Alma 2-0. Jacob Taylor and Shep Martin each recorded two saves for the J.V. Bombers.

Mountain Home will return to Bomber Stadium on Friday for an outing with Greenwood.
