The Mountain Home High School softball team had a successful makeup outing as they picked up a 5-2 win at Alma. Emma King picked up the win as she pitched a complete game, and she also led the Lady Bomber offense by going 2-for-3 and driving in two runs. Leah Bockstahler and Chloe Bohannon each went 2-for-4, Kailyn Pope was 1-for-2, Daelyn Harper went 1-for-3 with an RBI, Bella Conyers and Maddie Simmons were each 1-for-4, and Libby Dewey had a sacrifice and an RBI. Mountain Home improves to 8-5 on the year and 4-2 in the 5A-West.
The junior varsity game ended with Mountain Home getting edged out by Alma 4-3. The J.V. Lady Bombers fall to 3-4.
In other softball, Bakersfield lost at Alton 8-5, Gainesville routed Seymour 17-5, and Harrison fell to Quitman 13-3.
