Boil water order issued for portion of Brunner Hill Water Association

A boil water order has been issued for portion of the Brunner Hill Water Association in southeastern Baxter County. The order affects customers on Russell Lane from the intersection of Rocking Chair Lane to the end of the system; north of Jordan Landing and Rodney Cutoff to the end of the system; and north of 6000 State Highway 223 to the end of the system, including all branching lines.

The order was issued Tuesday afternoon due to a main break.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
