No damage sustained to new Aquatic Center from recent storms

Flooding Saturday along McCabe Park walking trail near the 62/412 Bypass

During last week’s storms, many waterways in the area began to overflow, causing debris to pile up on surrounding land. The City of Mountain Home has had crews busy with cleanup ever since the storms ended.

Enoch Pepin with Mountain Home Parks and Recreation says there is a lot of work to be done, but there was no extensive damage.

According to Andrew McNair and Pepin, no damage was sustained to the new Aquatic Center and the completion deadline for early 2026 is still on track.
