A boil order has been issued for a portion of the Lead Hill Waterworks in Boone County. The order affects the area from the old Arvest Bank on Arkansas State Highway 14 to the rodeo arena on Highway 14.
The boil order was issued Monday due to a main break.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
