With the help of the community and the volunteered time of local letter carriers, the Mountain Home Food Basket will be receiving a large delivery of food this weekend.

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and the United States Postal Service (USPS) are holding their annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive Saturday. Anyone looking to donate can bag non-perishable food items in a plastic bag and place it near their mailbox for pickup.

David Fisher, the Postmaster for the Mountain Home office of USPS, says this program is always very successful.
