Lockeroom finishes College of the Ozarks tournament with 5 wins

Mountain Home Lockeroom capped off the College of the Ozarks American Legion baseball tournament with a 5-1 record, including a dominant 19-4 win over Bartlesville and a 14-7 loss to Willard on Saturday.

In the win over Bartlesville, the bottom of the order fueled the offense. Finley Chafin, Jackson Corp, and Nate Henderson combined for five hits, five runs, and six RBIs. Lockeroom totaled 10 hits in the game. Sinclair earned the win, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits over four innings.

Later in the day, Lockeroom fell to Willard. Willard jumped out early with a five-run first inning and pulled away with six more in the fourth. Mountain Home closed the gap to 6-5 in the second with key hits from Cash Arnhart, Ryder McClain, and Xander McCandlis, but couldn’t recover.

Arnhart took the loss, giving up nine runs on seven hits across three innings.

Lockeroom is now 12-2 on the season and will travel to Harrison on Monday for a 5:30 p.m. matchup.
