The Twin Lakes Area is well known for its great lakes and water sport opportunities. This month and next month, Mountain Home Parks and Recreation are working to introduce beginners to the world of kayaking and fishing with classes for each.

Intro to Kayaking classes are split up into two age groups, youth, ages 8 to 15, and adults, ages 16 and up. Youth classes take place on the 9th and 19th with adult classes being on the 12th and 16th.

Andrew McNair, Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, says the instructor, Ted Geier, will teach many different aspects of the activity including safety.
