Home field advantage wasn’t enough for Harrison as the Mountain Home American Legion Lockeroom baseball team came in and swept in a Tuesday evening doubleheader.
Coach White’s boys took the first game in a shutout of 13-0. Jordan Corbett doubled, scoring two runs and Jackson Corp, Xander McCandlis and Mason Sinclair all singled. Maddex Chism earned the win for Mountain Home allowing for hits and zero runs over 5 innings.
Despite trailing by as many as six run in the second game Lockeroom still took the win with a final score of 11-9. Lockeroom tied the game up in the top of the second thanks to three singles. It was Jordan Corbett taking the win on the mound. The reliever gave up on hit and zero runs over two innings.
Lockeroom improves to a record of 14-2 on the season as they look to welcome Oklahoma City in a home game Thursday at Lester White Field.
