
After sweeping Tennessee at the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional, the Razorbacks will play SEC rival LSU first at the College World Series on Saturday. First pitch will be at 6 in the evening at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.
LSU (48-15) swept the Baton Rouge Super Regional with wins of 16-9 and 12-5 over West Virginia. The Tigers are at the College World Series for the 20th time and looking for the programs eighth national championship.
Arkansas (48-13) lost 2 of 3 games at LSU on May 9-11, including a 5-4 loss in the series opener that was delayed by rain and did not end until 1:17 a.m. The Tigers won 13-3 in a 7-inning run rule in the second game of the series, and the Razorbacks avoided a sweep with a 7-4 victory in the finale.
The winner of the LSU and Arkansas matchup will take on whoever wins the Murray State and UCLA contest at 6 on Monday. The losing teams of those two games will compete in an elimination game at 1.
