The Students Against Child Trafficking (SACT) will host a training program Saturday at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Family Life Center at 5:30. There will be food provided, and the event is free to the public.
The SACT is the leading training program that educates students internationally about the warning signs of trafficking and exploitation. The main focus of the group is to equip the students with knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves and their peers from exploitation.
Dana Brown, SACT Board of Directors member, will share the presentation and says parents and grandparents are encouraged to come learn about the program that not only gives information, but also teaches how to detect, disrupt and defend themselves.
