Jefferson City wins Twin Lakes Classic; Lockeroom finishes third

The 39th annual Mickey Huskey Lockeroom Twin Lakes Classic Tournament concluded with Jefferson City taking home the first place trophy. They won 5-2 over the team from Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Lester White’s Lockeroom team lost a nail-biter to Bartlesville with a final score of 8-7, but managed to bring home third place.

Sunday’s game against Bartlesville was a heartbreaker for Mountain Home Lockeroom, as they lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat. The game was tied at seven in the top of the seventh when Hunter Shea doubled, scoring one run.

Mason Sinclair stepped on the mound first for Mountain Home Lockeroom. The pitcher surrendered three hits and five runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four. Cash Arnhart took the loss for Mountain Home Lockeroom. The hurler went four innings, surrendering three runs on five hits, striking out two and walking two. Marcella stepped on the bump first for Bartlesville. The righty allowed three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out none and walking three.
