A Salesville man was recently injured in a motorcycle accident in Salesville. Fifty-year-old Shane Lee Jones sustained what were suspected serious injuries in the May 27 crash.
According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Jones was traveling on Schwartz Road when he lost control of the motorcycle and it left the roadway. Jones came off the bike, the bike hit the ditch and Jones came to rest against a tree.
Jones was transported to Baxter Health for treatment of his injuries.
The accident happened at 6:00 in the evening.
