Cole Ford has been named as the new head coach of the Norfork boys’ basketball program. Ford graduated from Mountain Home in 2014 and got his first coaching job in 2021 in Jenks, Oklahoma. Ford says making an impact on the lives of young men is what sparked his passion to become a coach.

Ford says he has always been looking for an opportunity to come back to the area to coach. When asked about the new coaching position, he said it was an easy decision to make.

The main focus this offseason for the coach’s boys will be defense and fundamentals, as well as developing some overall chemistry as a team.

Coach Ford will teach U.S. History and Civics, along with his Jr. and Sr. High coaching duties.
