The All-American Sports Club will host the Golden Glove Classic, a co-ed slowpitch softball tournament on Saturday at Clysta Willett Park. First pitch will be at 8 in the morning, with the championship expected to start around 6 in the evening.The tournament is part of the Turf Wars tournament series, and will be round-robin style to determine seeding, followed by a single elimination bracket to declare a champion.
Entry fee is $350 with teams promised to play six games guaranteed. The fee includes two designated heavy hitter (DHH) bands, and one girl band. First place winners will win the Golden Glove Classic trophy, customized team medallions, a tournament champion banner and chain necklace. Second place winners will receive custom team medallions.
