Lockeroom splits doubleheader with Harrison

In the first contest of the night, Mountain Home Lockeroom won big over Harrison 6-0.

Maddex Chism earned the win for Mountain Home, giving up no runs and just three hits in five innings pitched. Ethan Light pitched in relief with two innings of zero run ball. Sinclair and Henderson drove in two runs each in the win. Xander McCandlis doubled in the first inning, then scored on a fielder’s choice by Mason Sinclair. Once they got the lead, they never looked back.

In the nightcap, Harrison was able to pull out the win 1 to 0. Owen Hyslip took the mound first for Lester White’s boys. Ryder McClain came into the game in the second inning and took the loss, despite giving up just one run on two hits. Mountain Home was solid in the field and didn’t commit an error. Finley Chafin and Peyton Bodenhamer each collected one hit for Lockeroom.

Mountain Home Lockeroom team will be in tournament action Friday, as they head to Charleston, Missouri with game time set for 7.
