MacLeod takes the win over Springdale

The Mountain Home American Legion MacLeod baseball team traveled west to take on Springdale last night. Cole Tilton drove in five runs on four hits to lead Mountain Home to a 17 to 11 victory. The bats were hot as MacLeod tallied 22 hits and Springdale collected 11. Camden Payne started on the mound for MacLeod giving up nine hits and ten runs over three innings. Owen Morris came in for relief and pitched four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out eight. Tate Cudworth, Cole Tilton and Camden Payne led MacLeod with four hits each.After a schedule change MacLeod will now host Harrison in a pair of games Friday at Lester White Field.
