Arvest Bank is now accepting letters of request from nonprofit organizations in Baxter, Boone and Marion counties who would like to be considered as one of the 2025 Charity of the Year recipients.

The Charity of the Year program was created to provide supplemental financial support to local nonprofit organizations. Each year, Arvest associates in the north Arkansas region choose up to three local charities to share 100% of the profits from the bank’s charity golf tournament.

President and CEO of Arvest Bank in North Arkansas states “nonprofit organizations are often the lifeblood and sometimes a last hope for individuals and families. They demonstrate unwavering support for our communities in trying times, and now it’s our turn to support them and those they serve.”

To be considered for Charity of the Year, local nonprofits must be classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. To submit a charity for consideration, nomination letters can be emailed to Cindy Sutterfield at csutterfield@arvest.com

The deadline to submit a letter of request for consideration is June 27.
