
The Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team hosted Forsyth for a doubleheader Monday at Lester White Field. In the first game of the night, MacLeod fell to Forsyth with a final score of 12 to 7. Jasper Mott started on the mound for MacLeod, giving up four hits and seven runs over four and one-third innings.Wade Miller drove the middle of the lineup, leading MacLeod going 2-for-3 with 2 runs batted in.
Mountain Home was able to bounce back in the nightcap with a 17 to 2 win. Will Morris drove in four runs on an inside the park grand slam in the first inning. MacLeod scored 10 in the first, followed by a 7 run second inning. Bryce Springfield got the win, giving up one run on one hit over two innings.
MacLeod will be back in action Tuesday as they travel to West Plains. Game time is set for 5.
