
The Mounatain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team split a pair of games while playing host to West Plains.
Noah Davis collected three hits in four at bats as MacLeod took the first game of the night with a final score of 14 to 9. Mountain Home rallied for the victory after falling behind 4 to 0 in the first inning. Will Morris earned the win giving up zero hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four. MacLeod collected 16 hits in the game. Noah Davis, Rowan Askew and Camden Payne each tallied three hits.
In the nightcap, West Plains was able to get the win with a final of 9 to 2. Grady Pitcock opened the game for Mountain Home, giving up zero hits and zero runs over two innings. Pitcock led MacLeod with one hit.
MacLeod will travel to Cabot for their next game on Friday with first pitch set for 5:30.
