A boil order has been issued for the entire Briarcliff Waterworks system. The order was issued Thursday afternoon by the Arkansas Department of Health at the request of the city due to a total coliform present in a sample.
All customers of Briarcliff Waterworks are advised that water may be unsafe for consumption and should be boiled briskly for at least one minute before drinking or using in food preparation. Ice made from tap water should be discarded.
