Play tipped off Saturday at the Arvest Bank Tournament in Flippin.In senior girls play, Flippin improved to 2-5 with a 60-37 win over winless Timbo (0-11). The Lady Bobcats will face Marshall on Monday at 7. Yellville-Summit edged Lead Hill 42-40 to notch a victory; the Lady Panthers will meet Jasper on Monday at 4.
Norfork stayed hot, moving to 6-1 after a 53-37 win over Alpena. The Lady Panthers will play the winner of Monday’s MarshallFlippin matchup on Thursday. Cotter topped Kingston 46-31 and will face the winner of Yellville-Summit and Jasper on Thursday.
In senior boys action, Lead Hill improved to 7-1 with an 85-53 win over Timbo (3-7). Yellville-Summit took down Alpena to advance. Norfork defeated Kingston and will take on the host team, Flippin on Monday at 5:30. Marshall took down Cotter, and will play Jasper on Monday at 8:30.
